As VP Life Science partnerships and Head of Diagnostics I am responsible for Landcent diagnostic partnerships with our strategic partners in line with our mission to accelerate the fight against diseases of poverty starting with malaria. Our expanded diagnostic portfolio includes test for CV disease, malaria, IDV and neglected tropical diseases such as schistosomiasis. In my role as VP I am also overseeing our Medicine program to develop a malaria prevention drug for children and pregnant women. I am responsible to develop and implement the partnership strategy, including identifying and engaging with Contract Research Organizations (CROs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), the World Health Organization (WHO), Large Pharma partners, and Research Institutes.
Responsible for outsourcing strategy for Immuno assays of accelerated vaccine programs. Set up vendor oversight structure and governance models for external collaborations. Manage a team of 10 international sourcing and quality experts. Oversee RFP's, contracting and KPI set up. Other responsibilities include overseeing set up and qualification of Global Network of Specialized Labs for PBMC isolation in collaboration with Global Development. Responsible as well for talent development, Process improvement and Quality oversight for external analysis.
Managed a team of 30 international Feasibility and Data mining experts. Oversaw delivery of feasibility Insights for all indications from Early Development to Late Development and Medical Affairs to drive optimal study placement and predictive patient recruitment. Responsibilities included Vendor Management, Talent development, Hiring, Budget, Resource planning, oversee collaborations with IT and legal.
