~ Ensures facility readiness for all Kings' home games, concerts, and events through the planning, coordination and scheduling of the Changeover crew. ~ Responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating Arena Operations staff. ~ Assists with the coordination of work projects related to building maintenance. ~ Ensures that union contracts, as well as state and federal laws are adhered to. ~ Enforces compliance with company policies and procedures. ~ Responsible for the Arena Operations safety program.
Event Management ~Planned and scheduled wedding receptions, business meetings, parties, gym rentals and community events. ~ Trained and supervised event staff on equipment set-ups, supervision methods, and customer satisfaction. ~ Keep detailed records of events for future use and training. ~Meet with potential clients and discussing the benefits of using our facility. ~Create recreational programs for youths. ~ Working with party planners and caterers to ensure we can meet their standards and requests. Facility Management ~ Update building usage calendars. ~ Train building staff on our programs and upcoming events, answering phone calls, opening and closing the building, handling payments, and security. ~ Hire janitor and snow removal services, small project contractors, and building supervisors. ~Budget and schedule staff depending on the building usage. ~ Organize storage space for maximum efficiency. ~ Project management: Scheduling contractors so events and programs can carry on unhindered. ~Knowledge of fire codes and D.C.F.S. laws. ~ Experience finding, applying, and obtaining grants. Maintenance ~ General knowledge in carpentry, HVAC equipment, roofing, plumbing, and electronics. ~ Can lift well over 50lbs. ~Comparable to Bob Vila. General ~ Great at multitasking ~ Even better at time management; never missed a deadline.
