Managed customer account creation, credit analysis, and collection for the Walcro brands under All Surfaces.
Conducted daily cycle counts and inventory processes as well as managed physical inventories for Walcro’s hub branch. Simultaneously assisted accounting department with bank reconciliations and other accounting duties.
Managing vendor communication, product data, and product shipments to ensure that we remain in stock of all of our clothing products in order to help protect and prevent our customers from harmful UV ray damage to the skin.
As a member of the Accounts Payable team, I work with both our Merchandising and Accounts Payable teams to ensure that our merchandising costs are accurate between Gander Mountain and our vendors. I conduct weekly reports analyzing a variety of business aspects including cost discrepancies, vendor activity, and invoices and advise next steps for resolution of issues. I also assist in managing vendor contracts and payment terms by working with our Merchandising and Accounting teams as well as Gander Mountain's various merchandising vendors from small businesses to multi-million dollar corporations. I am a co-chair in our Community committee where I help plan and coordinate events that encourage our associates to get involved in our local community. Events and activities I have helped coordinate include Food Drives, Adopt-a-Trail clean-ups, and planting activities.
-Managing product set-ups, pricing, and weekly promotions for the Hunting and Tactical Apparel Departments. -Maintaining relations with vendors, both international and domestic -Tracking both international and domestic purchase orders on a weekly basis.
