Eric Stephens is a leading energy lawyer who joined Intersect upon its acquisition by Google in March 2026 following 15 years as a partner in Orrick’s San Francisco office. At Intersect, Eric manages the legal strategy behind the procurement, construction and operation efforts needed to build out the energy infrastructure necessary to power Google's data centers of the future. Intersect's model augments today’s constrained grid by co-locating industrial demand with fast-ramping firming sources and renewable power for rapid growth at any scale. Eric brings decades of experience in building renewable energy projects to manage procurement and construction for billions of dollars worth of equipment procurement and other EPC work.
