Hired by one of the biggest french IT services companies, I have worked as a consultant for the R&D department of France Telecom and was based mainly on the customer site in Paris. Title: Q&A Engineer on VoIP Trunking and Centrex technologies. My job was to handle, configure and test VoIP solutions provided by manufacturers such as OneAccess, Cisco, NetCentrex... The Q&A job involved studying test plans to integrate them in Test Director later. Once the test scenario set up, configuring and testing products was done using specific investigation and troubleshooting tools (Quality Logic FaxLab and DataProbe for T38/G711 Fax over IP, Wireshark for protocols troubleshooting etc...) I also drove side projects to automate processes and tasks through scripts (Perl, DOS, Wintask...).
