I am the CIO and Subdirector General at Banco Sabadell, one of the leading financial institutions in Spain and Europe, where I have been working for more than four years. I also hold the CTO role and the Executive Development Course (EDC) credential from IPADE Business School, one of the top-ranked executive education providers in the world. My field of expertise is managing and transforming IT operations, processes, and systems for high transactional and mission-critical platforms in the financial services industry. As the head of IT, I am responsible for the IT strategy, architecture, budget, and execution of the bank's digital transformation, cloud migration, and omnichannel initiatives, as well as ensuring the IT service quality, security, and compliance across the organization. I have a proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions that optimize and reduce operational costs, enhance customer experience, and enable business growth and innovation. Some of my key achievements include the modernization of the bank's Digital Channels transformation, High Transactional Mobile Apps, credit, and investment platforms, as well as the implementation of high availability technology components for business continuity and systems resiliency. I have also fostered a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and collaboration among my team of over 200 IT professionals, as well as with senior business executives and external partners.
