As an ambassador for private equity, growth and venture capital, and infrastructure fund managers investing in Europe and their investors, I am devoted to showcasing the pivotal role private capital plays in fostering robust businesses, expediting job creation, and fortifying European citizens' pensions and savings. As the CEO of Invest Europe's team of 30 professionals based in Brussels, I lead the charge to advocate for the private equity (including listed) and venture capital industry, amplifying the voices of our fund manager and investor members across Europe and beyond. It is my mission to advocate for the transformational power of private capital investment in building better businesses, supporting innovation, accelerating job creation, and contributing to funding the pensions gap for European citizens. I also create and communicate ground-breaking research, industry guidance, and educational tools that illustrate and enhance the positive impact and value of private capital in Europe's economy and society. Additionally, I engage with policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders to foster a constructive and supportive environment for private capital investment. I bring 30 years of practical private equity understanding to Invest Europe, working at mid-market private equity firms in France and beyond. Co-founding two private equity fund managers, leading investment teams and sitting on boards of numerous European companies has given me a clear view of how private equity can generate superior net returns for investors, elevate company performance and governance, fuel innovation and create businesses with sustainable long-term futures.
