I build and scale financial infrastructure companies across payments, banking, compliance, digital assets, and AI. Most of my career has been spent inside the operational complexity of global money movement: helping companies enter new markets, build banking networks, manage regulatory requirements, scale commercial organizations, and turn fragmented financial systems into products that enterprises and institutions can actually use. I was Rapyd’s eighth employee and first hire in the Americas, helping scale the company from an early-stage startup into a global fintech with more than 1,500 employees, 10+ offices, and nearly $1B in revenue. As General Manager for North and South America, I led Rapyd’s expansion across more than 16 countries, built the regional go-to-market organization, and helped close marquee customers including Uber, Rappi, and AB InBev. Later, as Chief Strategy Officer, I oversaw global banking strategy, corporate development, product strategy, investor relations, post-merger integration for three acquisitions, and helped lead more than $1B in financing rounds as well as Rapyd’s $610M acquisition of PayU from Prosus. Earlier in my career, I held leadership, strategy, and corporate development roles at Abra, First Data, Citigroup, and McKinsey & Company, working across payments, crypto, venture investing, innovation, and financial services strategy. Today, I’m focused on the next generation of regulated financial infrastructure: how banks, fintechs, payment companies, and digital asset platforms coordinate across fragmented systems, rails, partners, policies, and workflows. I serve on the board of Runa and advise and invest in companies building across payments, financial infrastructure, credit, compliance, and emerging markets. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, with more than a decade living and working across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the United States. Outside of work, I’m an avid cyclist and have completed solo rides across Patagonia, Cuba, the Swiss Alps, and the Camino de Santiago.
