- Managing an overall supply chain Responsible for an efficient organisation of the supply chain. From demand planning, purchasing materials and services, rough cut capacity plan, master production schedule, detailed planning, distribution to/form production locations (Tunesia, Macedonia, Vietnam), warehouse management and physical distribution to end user/customer. - Translation of sales forecast in production forecast I’m responsible for managing the statistical forecast and it’s parameter settings. The parameter setting can be very complex, using trend models and season influences. This forecast results in a production forecast (and distribution and material forecast) and the production forecast, derived form the sales forecast is the basis for the master production schedule. Forecast evaluation: intensive communication between demand planning and production planning (new forecast, evaluating discrepancies, etc). - Inventory management JIT principles all over the supply chain. Focus on optimisation of the stock levels. Determination of the reorder point, safety stocks, economic order quantity throughout the total supply chain all based on SLA’s. - (to coordinate) Purchase activities Responsible for the operational purchase activities. Creating purchase orders, processing order confirmation, order receipt, managing back log and the communication with the Purchase Department. Translation of rescheduling purchase orders to production orders, distribution orders and customer orders. Important input for the Vendor Rating System which has also been set up by me. - Taking part of supply chain projects – Integration of the supply chain activities of Bucofa with Havep – Stock Reduction Project. To reduce the stock with 20% keeping up the delivery performance target. – Lead time Reduction – Improving delivery performance of Bucofa from 80% to 95%. – Coordination of big orders (projects) Specialties: ERP system: Movex
