- Teach 5th Grade at Churubusco Elementary School - Involved in Professional Learning Community and School Improvement Team. - Went to Math Textbook Caravan and was the grade level representative for textbook adoption. - Lead reading group to compete in Battle of the Books in nearby town where kids read multiple books then answered multiple choice questions about the books in a competitive setting. - Attended High Ability training and NWEA professional development sessions to improve classroom strategies and utilize test results effectively in the classroom.
- Distributed breakfast and lunch meals to kids 18 and younger as an outreach to the community. - Keep track of meals distributed and filled out paperwork that goes to the state health department. - Led outdoor learning activities to spark kids' interests in the arts, science, and reading.
