Adds accounts for end users and troubleshoots servers and databases for which I am responsible. Issues technical bulletins for systems, servers, databases and storage. Maintains virtual environment. Adds and removes virtual devices, configures virtual storage and networks, monitors virtual environment health and updates virtual environment as needed. Maintains physical servers. Troubleshoots server hardware and software. Updates physical server hardware and software as needed. Implements and maintains switches, routers, gateways, hubs, wireless controllers and access points, remote access servers, firewalls, security appliances, network monitoring applications and internet or intranet devices and connections. Performs preventative and fault isolation maintenance on the local and wide area networks, wireless networks and VPN tunnels.
