Former Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS) specialist for 17 years, beginning when HUMS was just a new field of research. I helped to establish the importance of HUMS through cost and benefit analysis before I moved into the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of fully integrated aircraft HUMS systems. As HUMS generates large quantities of data, I am now actively supporting the strategic transition of HUMS into the field of data analytics using Machine Learning (ML). Along the way, I have gained considerable S&T knowledge and research experience. In one of these research projects, I developed several HUMS algorithms that are generic and efficient with the aim of being deployed on a low-cost, miniature HUMS unit for small Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). Currently, leading the predictive maintenance methodology area using ML/DL to perform big data analytics.
Worked on HUMS algorithms development, HUMS Independent Verification and Validation, HUMS Cost and Benefit Analysis, Aircraft Mission Analysis, and HUMS data analytics (Big Data using Machine Learning) / Data Visualisation.
