Disseminate to worldwide nuclear and conventional forces supporting emergency plans and operation orders; direct actions to ensure prompt response during emergencies; receive, process, and disseminate alert and emergency action messages; encode, decode, transmit, and relay presidential decisions to execute and terminate nuclear and conventional force operations; coordinate and execute search and rescue activities; coordinate with other agencies and organizations during planning and execution phases of operations; flight-follow and manage aerospace resources and monitor mission status to include aircraft and aircrew support; monitor aircraft movement and relay information to and from aircrews; analyze, prepare and submit operational, readiness, international treaty, and aerospace asset reports and deliver briefings; supervise five Airmen. In addition, direct and oversee the development and implementation of programs, policies and procedures of defense and homeland security applications when all program delivery has been completed.
Created, administered, and reviewed office policy for the Kentucky Regional Extension Center; reviewed and processed business and practice contract agreements; prepared and administered employee evaluations; managed hiring process; served as the lead public outreach agent for UK’s Kentucky Regional Extension Center; served on the UK External Collaborative Council; ensured smooth operation of office functions. In addition, performed strategic planning, policy development, budget preparation and execution, procurement and contracting processes, and personnel management.
Coordinated many aspects of the Governor’s travels; prepared briefing materials and briefed the Governor on current and ongoing situations; managed constituent service needs, media avails, interviews, and secured meetings and meeting locations.
