Eric G. Bullock M.Ed is the founder and CEO of Culture in Educational Excellence, formally the Leader of Student Culture at Foundation Academy in Trentonain, New Jersey Culture is K.E.Y. Prior to this position Bullock was employed in the Culture support staff at Titusville Academy. Before finding his passion and purpose in working with youth in the community and education, Bullock was the manager of marketing and supplier diversity for Diamond Packaging Inc. of Rochester, New York. Bullocks career began after graduation from Norfolk State University in 2007 where he was a standout athlete and was named to the pre-season All MEAC Conference Team and selected to participate in the East Coast Bowl Game. Bullock also led the defensive line at NSU in tackles with forty-seven. These achievements led him to pursue a professional football career and he played for three semi pro teams, the Montana Outlaws of Billings Montana, the Rochester Raiders of Rochester, New York and finally the Trenton Steel of the Southern Indoor Football league. Even during these times Bullock continued to follow his passion and volunteered to coach for several area football teams including the Princeton University Tigers Varsity football team and the Trenton Tornadoes Freshman football team. Bullock is the recipient of The Junior Honoree award for Men’s Day at Shiloh Baptist Church, and the “Family First Award” from Foundation Academy, awarded to those that consistently go above and beyond their “regular duties” and demonstrate love for students, students’ families, and the Trenton community through their daily actions and programs. He has successfully led multiple “100th day of school events” for Foundation Academy, attracting over one hundred local community leaders to support and encourage our youth to achieve and be all they can be. Bullock currently organizes a successful Culture is Key leadership development and engagement program that teaches chess to youth, incorporating the power of problem solving, positive engagement and conflict resolution through the game of chess. Bullock is a Graduate of Norfolk State University with a BS degree and a Master’s in Education degree from Grand Canyon University. Eric G. Bullock is married to Ka’Neda Bullock, president and founder of Master Plan Investment Group. They are the proud parents of Bella Joanne and Madison Lorene Bullock. As Chief Operating Officer at Capital Area YMCA, I oversee daily operations across membership, facilities, aquatics, youth development, partnerships, and fundraising. I work closely with our directors to strengthen leadership, streamline operations, and ensure high-quality, mission-driven programming that serves our community. Focused on operational excellence, team development, and sustainable growth, my goal is to help our YMCA deliver impactful programs that advance youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The organization was founded to build a personal and community-wide expectation of excellence for young men and women of color ages 6-18, while raising their self-confidence and self-worth through mentorship-based programming. Our programming is developed to build the knowledge of participants’ culture and access to excellence.
