Lab Technician - Assisted students in the AutoCAD and Pro-Engineering labs. Monitored assisted students the CNC cutting lab and in the general machine shop area. On call for student project help and projects for engineering professors using CNC cutting, metal welding, machining, grinding, and use of basic wood shop tools. Teaching Assistant - Created some course materials for 100 level engineering classes under direction of supervising professors. In class assistance 1-3 hours per week with some teaching under supervision of professors. Assisted students with home work and projects outside of class times. Created answer keys and graded homework and projects.
Edited and setup part drawings in AutoCAD and Pro-Engineer. Posted g-code for CNC cutting using SurfCam and Pro-Manufacturing software. Setup and monitored CNC cutting operations on Cincinnati Milacron machines. Basic metal working processes, cutting, grinding, polishing Performed part quality inspections and final part measurements.
