With an Associate of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Palomar College and a diverse educational background in science, mathematics, and social sciences, I have honed my abilities to effectively communicate and adapt quickly to solve problems. My tenure as a Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor at the City of Escondido allowed me to lead teams, ensure public safety, and provide emergency care, while also teaching swimming to a diverse range of students. At the City of Escondido, our team was responsible for the safety of hundreds of pool visitors and the delivery of high-quality swim lessons. Embracing the values of community service and safety, I integrated my martial arts discipline and problem-solving skills to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. These experiences have equipped me to contribute to an organization’s culture with a unique perspective, enhancing team dynamics and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
