Eric has been actively involved in merger and acquisition related activities both domestically and internationally since 1988 and has an extensive background in finance and general management. His career began in 1977 and has encompassed work in manufacturing, information services and telecommunications. His financial background includes positions in all areas of finance including CFO, and his general manager responsibilities have included leading high-growth multi-state start-ups in the Pacific Northwest. He has successfully led cross-functional acquisition teams, and has been integral to the success of new businesses and product launches, outsourcings and business mergers. An advocate of Activity Based Management, Eric co-authored the Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing-International’s ("CAM-I") book, The Road to Excellence, Becoming a Process Based Company. Also a proponent of quality management, Eric was instrumental in winning the Malcolm Baldrige Award for GTE Directories Corporation and the Canadian Award of Excellence for Dominion Directory Company. Eric earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Washington and received an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s distinguished Executive Program.
