I am a founder and attorney at the firm working with business owners in corporate transactions and employment matters in both North and South Carolina. My main focus in corporate transactions is to assist my clients in choosing and organizing business entities; preparing and negotiating contracts with partners, suppliers and customers; partner disputes; mergers and acquisitions; franchising; private offerings; succession/exit planning; and overall strategic planning. I also help client employers with their hiring; employment agreements; incentives; general policies and handbooks; workplace investigations, discipline; termination; severance; and non-competition/non-solicitation/confidentiality agreements. I believe in making strong connections in the community. You will find me regularly giving presentations, participating in panels, networking, and participating in various business groups. I am currently on the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Audit Committee and the Troop Committee for my son’s Boy Scout Troop. Previously, I served on other Mecklenburg County Bar committees, Chair of the SouthPark Chamber Chapter, a presenter and member of the Employers Association and as Den Leader for my son’s Cub Scout Troop.
