Post-doctoral researcher on hyperuniform features in wave-based metamaterials. 4+ years post-doctoral experience in applied wave physics, with an emphasis on acoustics, covering projects in airborne and underwater acoustics, acoustic/elastic metamaterials, and more recently hyperuniformity and morphogenesis in natural \& bio-inspired structures. Ever-curious, with a strong interest in pushing the boundaries of science and technology. I have served as Principal Investigator on several recent research projects, with responsibility for defining scientific objectives, selecting modelling strategies, and steering technical decisions. In parallel, I have developed experience in competitive grant writing, project structuring, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Beyond technical expertise, I place strong emphasis on clarity of communication and collective efficiency. I am used to approaching complex problems from a system-level perspective, structuring them into tractable modelling and simulation tasks, and working closely with experimentalists and engineers to ensure coherence between physical assumptions, numerical approaches, and practical objectives. I work comfortably in international teams from around the world and value research that bridges fundamental physics and application-oriented design. I work fluently in English, am bilingual in French and Spanish, and conversational-level Italian.
