About

Master degree in Reliability Engineering and Asset management with 20+ years of hand on experience in oil and gas industry Aiming to achieve a more Profitable Upstream, more Valuable Downstream, more Sustainable and Economic Gas Supply during servicing main oil and gas operator. Presently continue to improve operational efficiency and maximize profitability to achieve unit cost target of 0.32 $/bbl to contribute to target. Implementing precommisining, commisining and maintenance program for Adnoc Mandus A project where underground crude oil storage system in form of 3 underground mined rock caverns to store 3 different types of crude as well as provide integration with the MOT Fujairah crude oil storage terminal acilities which already operating for receiving and loading. The 3 types of crude involve Murban, Das and Upper Zakum and these is stored in the caverns, whereby Murban will be fed from ADCOP pipeline, and Das and Upper Zakum will be fed from offshore. Sametime managing crude oil tank decennial refurbishment projects using desludging by man-entry free approach from contractors Oreco and Dhafra Technologies The objective of the project is to have the eight floating roof tanks completely refurbished in accordance with API standard 653 and SHELL DEP 70.51.10.11-Gen Ver 31 Beside improving piping installation to minimize vibration effect on the process line after flow increasing with contractor Xodus Group, As a maintenance engineer at ShellIrqa Petroleum Dovolepment , I maintained CPF more than 250,000 bpd prodcution with continuously running of MPUs Solar Taurus 60 , 5.7 MWe and Mars 100 compressor Sets driving C336EL HP and C5LL LP compressor in the gas processing plant. During my career with Lukoil we achieved mechanical integrity of central process facility CPF to handle more than 400,000 barrels of oil per day, continuously running of 126 MW gas turbine power plant (GE MS 6001 Duel Fuel) and integrity of water intake facility on the Euphrates river, and export pipeline and three additional storage tanks at the Tuba oil storage terminal. My creer with BP we have carried a total of over 1.9 billion barrels (256 million tons) of crude oil and sent to world markets. (1 million barrels/day) with 1768km BTC pipeline.

Experience

  • Senior Integrity Management Engineer at bp
    Aug 2022 - Present · 3 yrs 11 mos

As an engineering leader driving asset integrity and operational readiness, I serve as the principal technical authority for high-complexity production facilities. My executive mandate is to maximize plant uptime, safeguard critical assets, and optimize lifecycle costs. Operating at the intersection of process safety and reliability, I direct cross-functional teams to mitigate degradation mechanisms and ensure strict compliance with global standards (API, ASME) and BP’s corporate practices. Direct API 580/581 RBI programs across major producing assets, actively managing the integrity of critical static equipment and complex rotating machinery (including gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and high-pressure API 610 pumps). Leverage advanced predictive degradation models and SAP PM to dynamically optimize inspection intervals. This strategic shift reduced intrusive maintenance by 30%, saving over $2.5M in annual OPEX while driving mechanical availability to 99%. Serve as Lead Technical Investigator for Loss of Primary Containment (LOPC) and equipment failures. Engineer targeted mitigation strategies that reduced repeat anomalies by 45% and sustained peak operational uptime. Execute complex Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessments, safely extending the operational life of aging infrastructure by an average of 10+ years and averting capital-intensive early replacements. Chair anomaly review boards and rigorously evaluate process safety risks through the Management of Change protocol, ensuring operating envelopes remain inherently safe. Act as the primary reliability interface during major facility turnarounds. Orchestrate critical mechanical repair scopes and integrity inspections to guarantee seamless, incident-free operational restarts

The Maintenance Engineer at the ADNOC Fujairah Main Oil Terminal responsible for ensuring the absolute reliability, integrity, and optimal performance of a highly strategic crude oil storage and marine export facility. This role oversees the comprehensive maintenance strategy for all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation assets. The core objective is to maximize terminal availability for uninterrupted crude oil loading operations while strictly adhering to world-class Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Execution: Develop and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for massive crude storage tanks, high-capacity pumping stations, marine loading arms, metering skids, and complex pipeline networks. Asset Reliability: Drive continuous improvement to extend asset lifecycles and eliminate unplanned downtime. Utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve chronic equipment failures and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). HSE Leadership: Champion a zero-harm safety culture. Ensure all maintenance strictly complies with ADNOC codes, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and international O&G standards (API, ASME). Lead safety audits and risk assessments. Contractor & Team Management: Direct a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians. Oversee third-party contractors, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), quality control, and safe execution during routine operations and major turnarounds. Cost Optimization: Manage annual maintenance OPEX/CAPEX budgets. Optimize spare parts inventory using SAP/CMMS to balance cost-efficiency with immediate operational readiness.
