I'm an experienced product leader with a strong background in R&D, (software) product management, and digital transformation. I'm currently contributing to the gold-standard eCOA tool supporting clinician-based EDSS scoring in multiple sclerosis clinical trials globally. My journey in data-driven problem solving and high-impact initiatives began with a PhD from ETH Zurich, followed by postdoctoral research at MIT in collaboration with NASA on satellite projects. These experiences fueled my passion for using technology to solve real-world challenges.
As Product Owner, I translate business needs into actionable backlog items, prioritize features, and lead sprint planning and review sessions while monitoring Scrum board progress. I also facilitate collaboration across stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely delivery.
I drive requirements engineering for eTest, an interactive test and certification tool that supports clinician-based EDSS scoring in multiple sclerosis clinical trials. I also design and execute CSV activities in line with GAMP5, ISO13485, GCP (ICH E6 R3), and 21 CFR Part 11. In addition, I contribute to the software testing strategy and implementation, including test case design and execution using Cypress, Xray, and Zephyr.
Led the conception, planning, development, and launch of multiple innovative large-scale digital platform solutions. These include OxygenX™, a workplace health and sustainability monitoring software product, and Project Moonshot, a distinctive digital business automation platform aiming at optimizing internal business operations.
Led two multi-institutional research projects focusing on engineering and climate change: (1) life cycle assessment of engineered water-saving solutions during drought conditions, with results published in Nature Sustainability (featured on the front cover), and (2) microfluidic experiments to identify subsurface processes impacting soil carbon cycle under combined drought and heatwave extremes.
Utilized NASA’s SMAP satellite data to enhance global land water cycle modeling.
