I am a structural engineer focusing on the seismic behavior and design philosophy of timber and steel structural systems. My work spans a wide range of structural typologies, including large-span structures, industrial facilities, bridges, and historic buildings. Through both professional practice and academic research, I explore how structural systems behave under seismic loads and how engineering decisions shape the safety and resilience of buildings. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Structural Engineering at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, where my research focuses on the seismic behavior of timber structural systems. My professional experience includes the design and analysis of steel and timber structures, as well as structural evaluation and strengthening of historic buildings. I believe that structural engineering is not only about calculations, but also about understanding the philosophy behind structural systems.
