With an experience of (+) 42 years in execution of major projects like Auditoriums, Bridges,Court Complexes, Industrial Buildings like Cattle-Feed / Milk / Powder Plants, Polytechnics, Highways including National Highways with related Services, Hospitals, Residential Complexes and Urban Estates, I have been a trainer and teacher to Engineers of different streams in subjects varying from Technical to Soft Skills. Presently advising on Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration matters
I am into the domain of Alternative Dispute Resolution through voluntary participation of the parties concerned. I advise and help my clients to defend against such actions which in the opinion of my clients are not justified or are disproportionate. I advise on Identification and Formulation of Claims of my clients on the strength of records available and vulnerable spots of the opposing parties. Punjab Govt. appointed my as Dispute Review Expert in many agreements. I also advised PWD(B&R) as contract Specialist for couple of years. I am an approved Arbitrator empanelled by Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court
I was into Induction Training of Junior Engineers and Sub-divisional Engineers at the time of the start of their careers; of all the Engineering Departments Like Public Works Departments, in the branches of Buildings & Roads, Irrigation, Water Supply and Sanitation; Urban Development Authorities like PUDA, GMADA, GLADA, ADA, BDA,JDA ETC. Inservice Training was imparted to the ranks of Junior Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Executive Engineers and Superintending Engineers in the subjects tailor made for the specific needs of the trainees. Great emphasis was laid to development of Public Private Partnership mode of resources mobilization in the shape of Finances,Project -Development, Execution and Management
Started my career by initiating Roads Programme on Indo-Tibetan Border in the districts of Lahaul and Spiti presently in the state of Himachal Pardesh, at heights ranging from 10000 to 14000 feet. Jobs included importing of labour force from Nepal and Tibetan refugees, their tenting and accommodation, supplying of provisions and kerosene to them and providing preliminary Medical Care After regular promotions to the ranks of Executive Engineer in November 1971, to Superintending Engineer in September 1989 and as Chief Engineer in April 1998, I retired in August 2000. I worked on deputation with Punjab Milk-Fed.(1984-1989), Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) from 1990 to 1992 and Punjab Mandi Board (1998-2000)
