I am an experienced corporate leader who has worked across multiple industries and geographies. I started my professional life as a graduate at Deloitte London in the Management Consultancy Division delivering projects in Qatar, Germany and the UK. This opened an opportunity for me to work in Private Equity where I was based in Dublin and Buenos Aires and delivered on transactions in Ireland, UK, USA and Latin America. In 2010 I returned to Ireland where I contracted for KPMG successfully growing their R&D tax team as a business development manager before joining a boutique Strategy Consultancy firm called Prospectus. In Prospectus I focused on the Health and Lifesciences sectors working with clients across the health ecosystem both public and private including the HSE, Department of Health, Regulators, Public and Private Hospitals, Industry bodies and directly with Pharma and MedTech companies with a focus on MAx projects.. In 2015 I took a Strategy role in Novartis working to develop and support the rollout of the company's Shared Services' Strategy. I then had the opportunity to lead and grow two teams within the Global Patient Access Services Function in Dublin and Hyderabad focusing on Government Affairs / MAx Strategy / Health Policy and Value Communications. In this position I created a European stakeholder forum of ex-payors to better understand HCS needs, the Transformation of the Region Europe MAx function, the development of a MAx capability program with international faculty for senior Oncology leadership and also helped to deliver negotiation training to local MAx Teams across Novartis. I was promoted to the LT of Novartis Ireland as Head of Innovation and Excellence where I have had responsibility for; Commercial Excellence, Digital Transformation, Healthcare Solutions, Launching Biosimilars in the Irish market and an admin team. in 2023 I joined Takeda Global Pricing & Access in Zurich as Global Pricing Policy Lead with responsibility for developing the Takeda Global Tiered Pricing Framework, building an in-house Pricing team in ICC Bangalore, coordinating the Global Takeda response to pricing policy changes in the US, value communications activities supporting launch products, Global Pricing Lead for rare disease products and owning global ESG metrics relating to Patient Access, their assurance and reporting. Director role as Global Pricing Policy & Value Communication Lead for Takeda. Supporting my colleagues across the global functions of Takeda to better understand, anticipate and react to the changing global healthcare environment and emerging health policy challenges in the domain of pricing of innovative medicines and elevating Global Pricing capabilities. Specific activities include: - The update of the Takeda Tiered Pricing Framework, underpinning Takeda's global pricing philosophy and strategy - The creation and build of a new in-house Global Pricing team/capability in Bangalore India covering pricing operations and pricing analytics support. - Coordinating the Takeda response to emerging and changing US health policy to understand its impact on Takeda globally. - Ownership of ESG corporate philosophy metrics in relation to Patient Access, their development, maintenance, assurance and publication.
