Associate Director (Design management) in design consultancy projects with twelve years’ experience working for high profile design consultancy and tier one contractors in London, UK and Middle East such as Dubai, UAE and KSA. Chartered engineer with area of expertise are in the design management of large and complex infrastructure and development projects, ranging from early Master planning to construction delivery stages. Professional background in design of structures with complicated site constraints (including underground services, tunnels and neighbouring sites) and existing building refurbishment/ redevelopment. Strong design experience in design across British, European and American design codes.
• Extensive experience in complex temporary works structural design. • Design of steel grillage to support large forces from cranes, hoists and concrete pumps. • Value engineering design based on constructability, programme and cost benefits. • Design and justifications of existing structures to support heavy construction loads from plant and equipment, cranes and hoists etc. • Design Review of sub-contractor temporary works designs. • Site inspections for PTL’s.
Involved in all stages of construction from Scheme/Tender Design to Detailed design and construction. Experience in new build and renovation of existing buildings in both Residential and Commercial schemes.
