Calibration and Commissioning Technician. Responsibilities: - Initial calibration and commissioning of a new process area. -Troubleshoot, loop check and start-up of instrumentation. - Ensure work and documentation meets the appropriate GMP standards. - Effective communication with mid and senior management, facilities, QA, engineering and operations.
- Loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and startup of instrumentation. - Instrumentation/Calibration support to Facilities, Quality Assurance Team, Engineering and Operations. - Ensure documentation of maintenance activities to cGMP's standards both in paper based records and the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). - Experienced with automated control systems and with low voltages. - Daily calibration of various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow, UV, weight, speed, pH, dissolved oxygen and analytical instruments.
• Instrument calibration, repair and installation to GMP standards. • Repair of process equipment and related electrical / mechanical systems. • Troubleshoot issues with production and automation depts. • Solving complex E&I issues • Project experience on new E&I installations. • Good knowledge of automated control including pneumatic and process control systems. • Experienced working with the following plant and equipment: Waste treatment / incineration, Nitrogen generation, Solvent recovery, Clean rooms, product charging, ex motor/ VFD systems, HVAC, process pump control.
