I specialize in inflammation, Immunology and virology, focusing on the DNA viruses (herpes viruses: CMV, HSV1, HSV2 and EBV) as well as RNA viruses, virus–host interactions and vaccinology. By integrating wet-lab experimentation with computational approaches, I aim to drive the development of antiviral small molecules, drug discovery, vaccines, and therapies for viral infections and neurodegenerative diseases that arise as sequelae of viral infections.
