About

With a career commencing in the year 2000, I bring over two decades of extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, focusing on international FPSO projects. My expertise spans a wide range of technical areas, including instrumentation and control system automation, integrated control and safety systems, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity measures necessary to protect Operational Technology (OT) environments. This foundation has been enriched by significant roles in project management and leadership, notably as the technical authority for the BWO fleet and as a discipline manager, where I have led multidisciplinary teams to achieve strategic project objectives. In recent years, my role has expanded to encompass the development of an information security governance, highlighting my adaptability and forward-thinking approach in addressing the cybersecurity challenges within the industry. This initiative, aimed at ensuring compliance with the NIS2 directive, underscores my commitment to enhancing the security and resilience of critical infrastructure against emerging cyber threats. My managerial experience, combined with a solid engineering background, positions me uniquely to tackle complex challenges at the intersection of technology and security. My ambition is to channel this extensive blend of technical acumen and leadership prowess into roles that significantly impact cybersecurity and digital transformation within the oil and gas sector. With a specialization in safety automation systems, instrumentation design, and FPSO instrument/system design, my focus is now sharply on driving advancements in cybersecurity measures and leading digital transformation initiatives to shift workload from offshore to onshore. This shift in focus reflects my commitment to not only ensuring operational safety and compliance but also to pioneering innovative solutions that address the evolving digital challenges facing the industry. My career, rooted in a dedication to excellence and innovation, is geared towards making a meaningful contribution to enhancing the digital resilience and security posture of oil and gas operations.
