Focused primarily on workday implementations, finance transformation projects and small ad hoc workday projects (e.g managing and delivering complex phase x deployments, ad hoc report pack builds, managing data conversion and complex ad hoc integration builds)
Hired to lead the functional and integration design for the greenfield implementation of workday financials for 10 country deployment to enable compliance of new accounting standard within the insurance industry. Oversaw discovery sessions and gather integration requirements and scoped and designed final integration landscape to and from Workday • Assisting with vendor selection by reviewing RFP Reponses and helping refine the statement of work with the selected solution implementer • Creating and maintaining high level design documents for all integrations to and from workday • Overseeing the design workshops to ensure the client is getting the best out of the workday product and to ensure that each functional area was being designed in a synchronous manner • Collaborating with partners, vendors, and a team consisting of business analysts, developers, other architects, and testers to deliver an excellent user experience • Contributing to the design of test and acceptance criteria to effectively validate the solution delivered. • Owning on-time and on-budget delivery of the project in collaboration with the project manager • Defining and documenting process and system solutions where there are gaps in the workday functionality • Training finance team, system administrators and technical teams on workday functionality
