I have 17 years of experience in international trade. I started my career in the international cargo sector. In the early years, I worked in Africa, where I managed company operations, imports, and local sales. For the past 9 years, I have been responsible for export, international sales, marketing, and import activities. I have handled export sales, customer relations, operations, and market research in several industries, including construction materials (fire doors, steel doors, bathroom and kitchen accessories, electrical cables, lighting), FMCG (flour), and disposable plastic packaging. I established and managed companies in Ghana and Egypt, which gave me full experience in trade operations both in the field and at the head office. In 2024, I completed a Foreign Trade Intelligence training program that improved my strategic view of exports based on current global trends. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS • Attended over 20 international trade fairs and helped gain more than 100 new customers. • Established and managed a new company structure in Ghana from the ground up. • Played a key role in establishing the Egypt branch and in securing a government tender for 1,500 doors valued at $500,000. • Export operations were initiated at Suntel, which had previously only been engaged in contract manufacturing • Sourced raw and semi-finished materials from China, helping reduce costs with successful imports.
