Management and Supervisory Duties 1. Zambia Metrology Agency Loan Committee Chairperson since 1 January,2020-December,2022 duties include; • Management and administering of Loans for the Agency. • Loans amortizations and disbursement Management. • Report the functions and activities of the Loan Committee Pool fund to the Executive Director. • Amend and review of the terms and reference document as assigned. 2. Zambia Metrology Agency Technical Signatory Dimensional since 23 April,2019 to 22 April,2024 duties include; • Checking, inspecting, approval and standardizing the quality and analysis of work performed by Metrologist, Technicians and any approved personnel prior approval by Director Scientific and Industrial Metrology in accordance with the quality manual, requirements of the 1SO standards and the requirements specified in the TR-Technical requirements of the accreditation body. 3. Trained internal auditor for the agency • Conducting internal audits as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager in accordance with the Annually Audit Plan. Other Duties 1.Maintenance of Zambia National Standards in the field of Metro logy 2. Calibration of analytical balances, Mechanical and all ranges of industrial scale. 3.Force calibrations,Dimension,and Pressure. 4.Analysis of calibration results and report uncertainties of measurements. 5.Analysis of methods using methods validation 6.Ensuring that all requirements for ISO 17025 are followed when calibration of instruments is in progress 7.Create Metrology Maintenance plan and Maintenance of Metrology Equipment’s 8.To carry out On-site & in- house calibration. 9.Assist Metrologist in both onsite & in- house calibration. 10.Ensuring that ZMA equipment’s are prepared prior for calibrations 11. Preparation of calibration certificates 12.Collect on a daily basis ,environmental control readings for calibration Laboratories 13.Ensure that environmental controls are calibrated at stipulated times
