Eng.Jean de Dieu UWIHANGANYE is current Minister of State for infrastructure in Rwanda. An engineer by profession, with a master's degree in Construction Project Management from The Manchester university. Previously Minister of State in charge of Transport in the Government of Rwanda Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye is a construction business leader with experience in both operational, research, academic, managerial, and leadership roles in construction project business in developing countries.
• Promote good relations and cooperation between Rwanda and Singapore; Indonesia, New Zeland, and Australia • Attract investors and secure market for Rwanda’s products; • Ensure Technology, Skills Transfer and secure training opportunities for Rwandans
• Oversee the development and implementation of land, water, and Air Transport policies. • Started the implementation of low volume sealed roads in Rwanda. • Coordinated the reform of the Air Transport sub-sector to achieve ICAO safety and security standards. • Led the introduction of Reformed Public Transport Process
• Led Business development team of 10; achieved 50% increase in annual project revenue. • Led team of 5 executives to produce the Company’s first 5-year strategic plan (2017-2022). • Led team of 10 managers in first successfully introducing the company at an international market.
