Working on NextEra Energy’s internal ChatGPT-style platform (NEE.AI), integrating multiple LLMs for enterprise use Delivered the long-term memory capability within first quarter and rolled it out company-wide. Currently spearheading the deployment of scalable MCP server infrastructure to support organization-wide adoption.
Role Overview: As a founding engineer and leader of the AI team, I played a pivotal role in developing and scaling the AI infrastructure. I reported directly to the CTO, collaborated closely with the iOS lead, and regularly presented updates and new ideas to the CEO. About Typpo: Typpo is an innovative iOS app that lets users generate videos through voice commands, driven by cutting-edge AI technology. Leadership & Collaboration: Led the AI team, driving the development of core AI features. Worked with the CTO on product direction and collaborated with the iOS lead to ensure seamless API integration. Managed communications with external AI API providers to enhance our capabilities. Key Achievements: Scalable AI Infrastructure: Built and scaled APIs from scratch, supporting over 100,000+ requests with optimal performance. Voice Modulation Systems: Developed real-time voice modulation systems within AWS API Gateway, enhancing user interaction. Custom AI Models: Deployed WhisperX on AWS SageMaker, improving speech-to-text accuracy and responsiveness. Image Generation API: Created an API for generating and caching AI images via voice commands, central to Typpo’s value proposition. AI-Driven Recommendations: Engineered personalized recommendation systems, boosting user satisfaction by accurately predicting preferences. The Genie - AI Assistant: Built 'The Genie,' an AI-powered assistant that interacts with users and demonstrates app capabilities using a hybrid approach of on-device and cloud-based models. Internal Tools: Developed internal web apps to streamline processes, saving significant time for the CEO and design team. Data Analysis: Analyzed user behavior and app usage, providing insights that informed product development and marketing strategies.
