Analytical method development and new projects
Analytical method transfer and development of Size-exclusion chromatography, Ion-exchange chromatography, Capillary Gel-electrophoresis (reduced or non-reduced SDS-CE) and European Pharmacopoeia examinations (e.g. osmolality, determination of sub-visible and visible particle contamination, uniformity of dosage unit) on biosimilar products. Writing protocols and reports of analytical method qualifications (in English). Responsibility for training system and GMP documentation. Participation in the validation and application of an electronic document management system. Assigned to projects on instrument operating software calculation development e.g. inter-sample calculations (Empower sofware) in summary reports of analytical results
Analytical method developments: Size-Exclusion Chromatography, RP-HPLC, peptide mapping, and enzymatic fragmentation procedures of biosimilars. Analyses of drug substances as well as stability samples, according to GMP requirements. Summary of state-of-the-art technologies and other published data about characterisation and characteristics of biosimilars e.g. post-trasnlational modifications.
Analysis of proteins detected specifically in neurodegenerative diseases by proteomical approach using electrophoretic techniques e.g. SDS-PAGE, 2D-Gel Electrophoresis, Isoelectric Focusing, and Western Blotting, In-gel-digestion. Analysis and Identification of protein fragments/peptides by LC-MS and MALDI-TOF MS methods
Solid phase synthesis of peptides also with combinatorial approaches e.g. parallel and by split-mix preparations. Characterisation of peptide libraries and antibody-peptide complexes. Binding studies between peptide or peptide mixtures and monoclonal antibodies produced against Mucin-2 tumor marker glycoprotein by Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assays.
