I am a 4th-year undergraduate student at Bilkent University, Ankara. I plan to pursue my career in academia. However, I have a variety of experiences outside of academia. I like working with people, and I am an outgoing person. I am also active in school outside of academic activities. I am the president of the Bilkent Philosophical Society, and I participated in the organization of many events there, including the world's first-ever (and only) philosophy festival, PhilFest! As I mentioned, I have been working every summer vacation for more than 10 years. I have worked in different sectors, including retail, food, service, industry, etc. Ultimately, I decided academia best suited me, so I started focusing more on my studies. I am passionate about learning (no matter what the subject is ) and having new experiences. So, I try to be active in every aspect of life.
PhilFest '24 & 25', 7th International Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, various other events...
I have worked on the translation of an academic-philosophical text and also a literary redaction of a philosophy book. The process tought me a lot about inspecting a (especially philosophical) text in-depth.
