With 14 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller, I have honed my ability to make critical decisions under pressure, manage complex operations, and ensure efficiency in high-stakes environments. Beyond aviation, I have developed expertise in Microsoft Office, photo/video editing, 3D drawing programs, and AI-powered image/video generation and automation, blending technology with creativity to drive innovation. I am fluent in English and Turkish and can speak German, Spanish, and Bulgarian up to an extent; allowing me to operate effectively in international settings. My passion for the NBA has also led me to serve as the General Manager of Turkey’s largest NBA outlet Her Şey NBA, where I oversee content strategy, community engagement, and brand growth. Now, (as LeBron James himself said) I am looking to take my skills and experience to the next level—exploring new challenges that broaden my horizons, mainly in aviation and air traffic control, but also in AI, media, or beyond. I thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where adaptability, strategic thinking, and technology converge to create impactful results.
As an OJTI, my responsibility is to ensure previously acquired job-related routines and both theoratical and practical skills of the newly recruited ATCo's are integrated in practice under supervision in live traffic situation and scenarios.
As a Safety Management System (SMS) representative, my duty consists of coordinating and facilitating the implementation of the SMS within Adnan Menderes Airport (AND) Air Traffic Control.
As an ATCo, I have performed my duty in the beginning of my career as an Area Controller in Ankara ACC, which is now known as THTKM (Türkiye Air Traffic Control Center). Since 2013, after relocating to Izmir, I have been working as an Approach Controller in Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. I also regularly visit and get assigned to work at other local airports in Türkiye a handful times in a year as a temporary assignment on short terms, mainly as a Tower and Approach Controller.
Her Şey NBA is the biggest NBA hub in Türkiye for the past decade, having collaborated with both domestic and international renowned brands and organisations like NBA, FIBA, Yemek Sepeti, S Sport, Adidas, İddia, Bilyoner, Tuttur and many more. As the general menager of the biggest NBA hub in Türkiye, my responsibilites include forming and supervising organic bonds with the collaborating brands, ensuring the financial responsibilities are performed by corresponding departments, supervision of digital contents and maximizing the potential of the current Her Şey NBA team.
Since 2018, I also write columns semi-regularly. ın addition to written media, I also contribute to visual media daily published by Her Şey NBA social media accounts, and I also take part in videos which are regularly released in Her Şey NBA YouTube channel.
