My most notable achievements thus far include: - Consistently attaining 4.5% in YOY savings through formation of a global procurement organisation and the introduction of category management processes. - Enhancing and drastically improving group procurement standards by developing and enacting group procurement policy, P2P procedures and KPIs. - Maintaining a minimum B grade designation at procurement audits across five (5) regions; significantly improved audit performances at remote locations without electronic systems in place from C and D grade designations. - Achieving 92% on-time PO delivery and raising material on-time delivery from 66% to 85% as part of broader BPO approach as a result of implementation of new shared services purchasing hub. - Boosting business unit working capital in excess of $15M by standardizing payment terms and runs.
In this previous role, I developed, implemented and managed procurement processes and associated software applications at various sites as needed. My unique contributions included: - Successfully accomplishing a $65M cost reduction program through coordination of multiple procurement work streams. - Increasing spend under procurement control to 80% and boosted supplier on-time delivery rating to 82%. - Slashing order processing time from 12-day to 3-day average and rationalized supplier base by 20%.
During my time in this role, I led a 6-member procurement team globally positioned throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
