About

Investment leadership lies in combining expertise, vision, and responsibility — a conviction that has shaped my career. I am an investment professional with 15 years of experience across Europe and Asia, bringing together strategic leadership, investment expertise, and cross-cultural insight. My career has been defined by the challenge of building and transforming investment platforms — developing multi-asset capabilities in Asia, redefining thematic equity strategies in climate, environment, and social themes, and revitalising equity ranges to restore performance and long-term relevance. My investment approach sits at the crossroads of fundamental and quantitative analysis — from early experience in investment banking, rooted in fundamentals, to a more model-driven practice in Japan. Over time, I have united these disciplines into a quantamental approach, combining data-driven insight with fundamental conviction to guide investment decisions and portfolio construction. I bring together a deep understanding of markets and a proven record of innovation — from the creation of flagship thematic funds and sustainable strategies to the integration of impact and sustainability across asset classes. Recognised with a 5-star Morningstar rating and included in Choiseul’s Finance Leaders of Tomorrow, I have also participated in several corporate talent programmes throughout my career. Client and public-facing responsibilities have always been part of my role. I regularly engage with institutional clients, UHNW investors, the media, and at conferences — helping to connect investment conviction with clarity and trust. My academic background mirrors this international journey: three undergraduate degrees in International Business, China Studies, and Japan Studies, followed by a Master’s in Finance. I hold advanced Mandarin certifications from Fudan and East China Normal University, and was the first Western graduate of Shanghai Jiaotong University’s simultaneous interpretation programme in Japanese ⇆ Chinese. Having spent five years in Japan and almost three in China, I built not only linguistic fluency but also an instinctive understanding of cultures and markets globally. Polyglot (French, English, Mandarin, Japanese, Spanish; intermediate in Cantonese, Thai, and German), I seek to connect ideas, teams, and markets. My conviction is simple: investment leadership must unite performance, innovation, and responsibility — not as separate goals, but as a single long-term vision for a more intelligent and sustainable finance.
