Headed the Language Solutions team within Booking Content Agency, set-up and managed Language support for all global products (Product, Marketing & Communications, Support, Legal), as part of the newly-created Service team, including: - owned and developed language strategy for Booking.com, including providing direction for technical and operational/organizational aspects, and well as investments; - defined all multilingual content solutions (from localization to transcription, subtitling, native writing, product testing) to meet business needs present and future; - drove the technology transition to a cloud-based TMS, (from identifying need, to building a business case, to RFP, to implementation), partnering with cross-functional teams in the process and in particular the content product to ensure the highest capabilities are built, to manage our scaled programmes with increased efficiencies; - responsible for Quality of language content and specific Localization quality programmes (including partnering with UX community to always optimize our continuous localization effort); - centralized all language processes for all product teams/content types, defining prioritization guidelines, partnering with business owners (internal stakeholders and sister companies) to ensure our language solutions are supporting their goals; - built a high-performing, energetic and motivated language solutions team (Quality, Process and Project management) to offer best-in-class support to the business, always with our users and partners in mind.
