As the CEO of Green Earth Geo-Sciences Group of Companies, I lead a team of experts that provides mining, geological, environmental, health, and safety services to various clients in the natural resources and other industrial sectors. I have over nine years of experience in the industry, with a background in mining engineering, environmental science, and occupational health, safety and environmental management. I hold an MSc from Middlesex University, an MSc from Cuttington University Graduate School, and a BSc from the University of Liberia. My core competencies include mine planning, mine waste management, mineral processing, environmental risk assessment and management, occupational health and safety management systems, and team building and management. I am passionate about creating a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace that ensures the safety of employees and project-affected individuals. In my previous role as the Assistant Minister for Mines at the Ministry of Mines and Energy, I contributed to several projects and initiatives that enhanced the capacity, transparency, and governance of the industry, such as the formalization of the artisanal and small-scale mining sub-sector, the banning of the use of dredges on water bodies, the restriction on the use of earthmoving equipment in artisanal operations, and the renewal of the current mining law. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences and am always eager to learn and collaborate with others. My passion for the sustainability of the environment drives my decisions in the workplace.

Provide technical advice on mining methods and gold processing mechanisms; Develop and ensure the implementation of Health and Safety policies; Review accidents and near-miss data and improve safety programs; Ensure compliance with the Mining and Environmental Permits; Represent the company during technical visits from Government regulatory institutions, etc.

As the Assistant Minister for Mines, I head the Department of Mines, Mineral Resources Development and Conservation at the Ministry of Mines and Energy. I also assist the Minister in supervising and regulating the mineral and mining sectors of Liberia by ensuring that operators are in compliance with the Mineral and Mining Laws of Liberia and the Regulations, including best practices. I evaluate applications for mining and trading rights (Licenses and permits) and advise the Minister on issuing the said right or the denial based on legal or technical reasons. I conduct mine site visits to investigate and establish regulatory, technical, health, safety, and environmental compliance and to ensure a safe work environment in every mine and mine-related operation site. I perform other tasks as may be assigned by my bosses.
