(English see below) Après une carrière de banque commerciale classique pendant plus de 20 ans en France, Belgique et Allemagne, je suis devenu intrapreneur social au sein de BNP Paribas, initiant en 2006 l'activité de microfinance internationale puis en 2012 l'activité de finance sociale. J'ai initié en 2004 dans la banque un groupe de volontaires engagés dans le soutien à la microfinance et l'entrepreneuriat social, groupe rassemblant maintenant plusieurs centaines de personnes. En 2015, j'ai publié un livre "transformez votre entreprise de l'intérieur : le guide de l'intrapreneur social". J'ai eu l'occasion de faire une centaine de conférences sur l'intrapreneuriat en France et dans le reste du monde. Depuis ma retraite à Vannes en 2020, je suis bénévole actif d'Habitat et Humanisme, avec une responsabilité globale sur les sujets européens et un engagement local dans le Morbihan. J’interviens régulièrement dans des cours ou des conférences sur l’investissement d’impact et sur l’intrapreneuriat Je suis franco-allemand, marié à une allemande, nous avons deux enfants. Je suis diplômé de Sciences Po Paris (1979) et j'ai également étudié le Chinois à Taiwan (1983) et à Paris (1985). After a classical commercial banking career for more than 20 years in France, Belgium and Germany, I became a social intrapreneur within BNP Paribas, initiating the international microfinance department in 2006 and the social finance activity in 2012. I also initiated in 2004 within the bank a group of volunteers to support microfinance and social businesses, which comprises now several hundreds volunteers. In 2015, I published a book in French " Transform your company from the inside : the guide of the social intrapreneur". I gave more than 100 lectures about intrapreneurship in France and in the rest of the world I supported the development of "Poeple's Lab", the intrapreneur's Lab of BNP Paribas launched in 2015. Retired from the bank in 2020, I live in a small city in Brittany. I am a volunteer at Habitat et Humanisme, a network for social housing, with responsabilities both at local and at European level. I am Franco-German, married, with two children. I have a degree in political science (Paris 1979). I have also been studying Chinese civilisation in Taiwan (1983) and Paris (1985)
Vice Président bénévole de l’Association Habitat et Humanisme Morbihan Créée en 2007, l’association gère environ 150 logements pour des personnes défavorisées dans le Morbihan, grace à l’engagement de 170 bénévoles, de six salariées et d’une vingtaine de propriétaires solidaires. HH Morbihan fait partie du Mouvement Habitat et Humanisme créé en 1985 à Lyon, et présent en France, Belgique et Luxembourg à travers une soixantaine d’associations territoriales. Au niveau de la Fédération HH, je suis en charge des sujets européens : plaidoyer auprès de la Commission et du Parlement, recherche de fonds et développement des liens avec des organisations européennes (FEANTSA, Impact Europe, European Impact Housing Network)

Member of the board and Treasurer. Convergences is the organiser of a world forum about social business and microfinance, gathering 5000 visitors in Paris in September. The conference is organised in a collaborative way, involving 200 organisations ( NGOs, banks, public authorities and universities). More info www.convergences2015.org
Development of volunteering within BNP Paribas both during working hours (mecenat de compétences, pro bono missions) and outside working hours (benevolat de compétences)
A new project to support and finance social businesses through BNPP retail banking units in European countries (France, belgium, italy, luxembourg) and with Impact investing funds
Within 6 years, financing of 40 organisations in 19 countries for 200 m euros, mainly in developing countries, most recently in Europe, with a social impact of 1,5 m micro entrepreneurs. Also incubated 2 associations supported by the bank, with aggregated amount of 1200 volunteers : - microfinance sans frontieres, to provide technical assistance to microfinance institutions, with international scope - benevolat de competences et solidarite, to support micro entrepreneurs and social businesses in france
Volunteer (part time) for Passerelles et Competences, to help develop their communication strategy. P&C is a French NGO which has been a pioneer, 15 years ago, to develop skills volunteering, building bridges (Passerelles) between the needs of NGOs and the skills of professionals.
