I’m an energetic and resourceful leader with a diverse background in ministry and education, currently completing my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a founding co-pastor, I navigated our church through Covid challenges by launching a second location, managing a large team, and overseeing a multi million dollar budget. My role demanded clear vision casting, strategic planning, and effective communication—skills that enabled me to build thriving congregations and foster a strong, unified organizational culture. My experience extends to teaching, where I planned and delivered adaptable, engaging curricula that meet diverse learning needs. This foundation in education has enriched my leadership approach, empowering me to mentor staff and volunteers while building exemplary interpersonal teams. Lead the launch and early development of a new church campus by building teams, coordinating ministry operations, fostering community connection, and creating strong systems for sustainable growth. Partner with church leadership to translate vision into effective strategy while cultivating a healthy volunteer culture and strong pastoral presence.
As the founding co-pastor alongside my husband, I successfully navigated our organization through the challenges of Covid restrictions, establishing a robust foundation for growth and meaningful community impact. I directly managed a staff of six and mentored 18 interns, overseeing HR administration, strategic planning, and a $10 million budget. My responsibilities included vision casting, preaching, teaching, and operational management, resulting in two thriving communities, each surpassing 1,000 members. I focused on mentoring staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment aligned with our shared vision. My strategic planning, financial oversight, and effective communication skills were integral in cultivating a resilient, vibrant organizational culture and driving operational excellence. In August 2024, I led our organization through a significant leadership transition as we became part of Awaken Church, a multi-campus, multigenerational church known for empowering leaders and extensive community outreach. By establishing clear transition guidelines, providing ongoing support, and maintaining transparent communication, I ensured continuity and allowed the new leadership to successfully integrate their vision with our established legacy.
Spearheaded this new location for the larger organization (location 3 of 9). Role responsibilities: budget management, team building, leadership development, preaching / teaching, pastoral counseling, meeting facilitation, data entry & analysis, pioneering strategic communication pathways and fostering community partnerships. The congregation size of this location grew to 1500+ in Sunday Attendance under our leadership.
