I am a Journalism and Political Science student at Northwestern University interested in long-form narrative storytelling, especially through documentary filmmaking and photojournalism. I am passionate about global education policy and how international systems affect access to education, drawing on three years of teaching and leadership counseling. I’ve developed audience engagement strategies for the Northeast Division of the American Red Cross and the Rotary Youth Leadership Award program, creating newsletters, infographics, and social media campaigns that increased volunteer participation and organizational visibility. I recently managed communications for four Northwestern Athletics D1 teams, producing live social media coverage, editing graphics, and publishing pre/post-game analysis that reached thousands of fans. Now, I report for The Daily Northwestern and work as the Assistant Video Editor where I edit and produce everything from short reels to video essays and packages.
