Technical advisor to operations, water, waste water & networks. The role encompasses participation in the development of HSEMS systems & procedure, communication and training. Engaging with key stakeholders to drive cultural awareness and change. Risk assessment, risk profiling, hazard review, monitoring and auditing. Incident management, investigation and rehabilitation.
My role involves executing the Griffin's Health & Safety Management system in a busy 24/5 manufacturing environment. From systems and policy to training and communication of H&S objectives and standards, risk assessments, monitoring, contractor management, and wellbeing initiatives. Creating a zero harm culture is the overriding focus, which can only be done with the involvement of everyone within the business. So engaging stakeholders at all levels to habitualise H&S into their systems is an on-going mission.
