From my early grounding in trade and product marketing, digital communications and business development at Microsoft, I have driven change and empowered organisational health for digitally focussed organisations. When I landed at AOL in 2010 to lead the UK marketing function during a critical transformation period, I was excited by the challenge of commercialising AOL’s UK audience. Building and leading the business operations function and driving sustainable growth was a huge part of my remit. In fact, it led me develop the marketing strategy and lead the overall programme management as part of the senior team who launched the Huffington Post in the UK. Now, as CRO EMEA for PubMatic — a global digital advertising technology company for premium content creators — strategy, change and bringing people together to help them work smartly, continue as the central theme in my career. I am also deeply passionate about diversity and inclusion and supporting women to become the very best versions of themselves. Working as part of the UK Management Board with responsibility for creating and managing the execution of a holistic marketing strategy.
Responsible for all UK marketing activity across the AOL network, including consumer, B2B, SEO/SEM, Social & Mobile.
Responsible for end-to-end business operational excellence ensuring operational readiness of all business groups by providing business planning, program management, learning & development, b2b marketing and business improvement support.
Responsible for developing and managing adoption & implementation key Business Excellence initiatives in order to drive greater efficiency, transparency & profitability of the Microsoft Advertising Business.
Responsible for the business planning, management & operations of the EMEA sales team - covering 10 major markets and emerging. Running the day to day 'rhythm' and special projects e.g. sales incentive schemes, internal & external communications, business intelligence.
