Manage invoicing and payments for all 350+ installers in the residential rooftop marketplace with multiple pricing models, payment methods, and billing terms including manually generating invoices and preparing variance and reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy. Lead monthly collections efforts by defining overdue balance, identifying team members to assist, organizing efforts to contact delinquent customers, and articulating company collections policy while maintaining relationship health. Report and present accounts receivable data in Excel and provide analysis and relevant context to senior management to inform company initiatives and strategic decisions, including trend reporting with commentary and suggestions.
Developed and maintained over 80 long term business relationships with installer partners across the country through regular video check ins, email campaigns, and conferences with the goal of growing the strength of our network. Nurtured installers by communicating data and sales analyses, including metrics and graphics with tangible suggestions to improve strategy and inform expansion decisions based on that installer’s need and the relationship history.
• Supported Indigo’s R&D department by identifying third party products and assets and engaging with partners to negotiate licenses and other agreements to test these products. • Identified possible markets for Indigo’s assets, landscaped and evaluated the potential for revenue in each area, identified major players to engage with, and lead outreach to some of them, resulting in new relationships.
• Provided consulting and engineering services to improve energy efficiency and operation of commercial and industrial facilities in the New England area. • Assisted on technical analysis of large-scale lighting and HVAC projects by creating simulation models for the existing and proposed case energy usage. • Led an outreach initiative to solicit additional projects for the company by reaching out to engineers and architects and gathering technical project information.
• Developed and maintained rebate programs available to residents who install clean heating and cooling systems. • Main contact for multiple programs and learned to manage questions and requests from a variety of customers and other industry stakeholders. • Managed third party entities in order to ensure the standard of work set by MassCEC was being met; took action to record or remedy when that was not the case. • Developed metrics and generated reports of data to quantitatively measure the extent to which third parties were not meeting contractual obligations and made recommendations to change the contract in future negotiations.
I worked in the Environmental Research and Analysis group to study the effects of heavy metal toxins on the growth of micro-algae as well as the chemical interactions between the metals and the medium used to grow the algae.
