Working in the Public Family Law team I deal with mostly Care Proceedings cases involving non-accidental injury, chronic neglect, radicalisation, and sexual abuse. This role involves legal research, instructing barristers, drafting briefs and statements, administrative duties, billing files, client conferences, attending court to support clients and produce a comprehensive attendance note.

Awarded with the title of best customer service in my branch. 3. Appointed Communication Initiation Advisor acting as an impartial voice for the employees of the company attending regional meetings with senior executives to discuss new ideas for our corporation.
Marshalling in the Court of Appeal with The Hon Mr Justice Barma JA. As well as in the Court of First Instance of the High Court, with The Hon Mr Justice Thomas Au Hing-cheung, who is the Judge in charge of the Constitutional and Administrative Law List. I observed a complex judicial review concerning public law, which had a profound effect on future liberties. This gave me the opportunity to analyse the advocacy and submissions, and have unique insight into the judicial decision making process. This inspired me to seek to pursue a role within the judiciary one day. As well as highlighting the power of the law to transcend international waters. I was the Junior Respondent acting for the Prosecution in a legal moot in the High Court of Hong Kong, dealing with the complex matter of joint enterprise and contrasting cases of Jogee and Chan. The issue questioned whether the Appellants should be granted an appeal on the basis that the judge misdirected the jury. As the only student in a moot with two senior silks and a junior barrister this was an incredible experience. The judicial interventions were extremely challenging as posed by The Hon Chief Justice Geoffrey Ma Tao-Li GBM (HK), The Rt Hon Sir Rupert Jackson (UK), and The Hon Mr Justice Barma JA (HK). I was commended on my performance and submissions.
