Member of audit teams across a variety of clients in different industries such as; retail, pharmaceutical and information technology, where I gained valuable audit and business experience. Audit Types: Group, statutory, reviews, specified procedures, pension and government grants. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Planning, coordinating and conducting all stages of the audit. • Understanding, evaluating and testing the design and operation of accounting and internal control systems, offering recommendations for any weaknesses noted, including PCAOB audit engagements. • Prepare and critically review statutory accounts to ensure they fully meet company law and financial reporting requirements (FRS102 and IFRS). • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and management; advising on key audit findings and assisting in the resolution of technical issues arising throughout the audit. • Meeting stringent reporting and completion deadlines. • Delegating work appropriately to junior members whilst also coaching them and reviewing their work in a structured format. • Participation in planning and closing meetings Other Achievements/Activities • PwC ACA Exam Award Recipient 2015 and 2016 • PwC New Intake Tutor –2016 • Member of PwC X-change Committee • Member of PwC Social Committee – organised several team building days, quizzes etc. • Member of PwC Exam support Committee – accommodate grinds/classes • Guest audit lecturer for Bsc Accounting in UCC • PwC Graduate Recruitment Speaker
