Nonstandard Productions' mission is to produce industry-challenging content ABOUT visible and invisible disabilities BY artists with visible and invisible disabilities. My husband, Pancho Moler, and I started this production company because we don't want to wait for the industry to change. We want to change the industry. 26% of the US population has a visible or invisible disability. 3% of characters onscreen have a disability (<1% in children's programming). 95% of those characters are portrayed by actors who are NOT disabled.
