As the only intern in the Research and Evaluation Unit: • Conducted research and analysis on youth reentry programs and recidivism rates across New Jersey counties. • Tracked and evaluated inmates’ college enrollment and disciplinary records to propose feasible policy solutions. • Proactively collaborated with the Youth Parole & Transitional Services Unit to expand knowledge and skillset.
• Facilitated public discourse to identify community priorities and policy needs. • Researched and constructed policy memoranda for legislative budgetary assessments and immigration policies. • Contributed research to, and helped organize, a three-day Policing-Community Relations symposium.
